Rowallan castle

My dad and I had dinner here (one of the meal offers online), think seeing the 13th century Castle was the best bit! It's claim to fame is that it is the birth place of Elizabeth Muir, mother of Robert II, the first Stewart king of Scotland.

The present owners are trying to keep the estate going with a golf club and restaurant- need to up their game if that is going to succeed!
