Buddies

Bruce and Mr J haven't seen each other for decades, however Bruce is one of the nicest folk we know and the two had lots of fun catching up with old work stories and life in general since they last saw each other which was probably the late 90's.

Bruce is interested in everything and we spent a while last evening looking at each others' photos-his from Hawaii and ours from New Zealand.

He grew up in Hawaii and since his sister has bought and renovated a place there he is in 7th heaven-boogie boarding and generally chilling out there once a year.

He did promise to visit us next year though and I look forward to showing some of our lovely country to him then.

He is a perfect gentleman-thanks for dinner and the pancakes Bruce!

The view from his deck is in extras-if I lived in Colorado I'd be tempted to live here I must say. I have decided that the next time we are in Colorado will need to be in the summer when we can go trekking and Bruce wants to take Mr J fly fishing too-bring it on!
