Eugene #1 Hook and Ladder

While cruising downtown today we were stopped by Eugene's Hook and Ladder fire truck pulling out of the downtown fire station station.
We were amazed by the skill of the two drivers, one in the cab and one at the rear of the trailer.
They negotiated two 90 degree turns, first right then left, one after another on tight city streets just in front of our car.
The gyrations of the hook and ladder truck's steerable trailer are very unlike the usual tractor/trailer truck; truly these are the contortionists of the truck world.
