Buoy Flowers

This image started life as a pile of buoys down on the dock. It wasn't very interesting so I morphed it into this.  Puts me in mind of  marigolds or chrysanthemums.

I did play around with shooting soft landscapes (for Impressionist Abstract) but was resoundingly unsuccessful.

We have been incredibly fortunate here in Temuka that this weather bomb hasn't greatly affected us. Yet anyway. We've had some rain (yesterday) and some wind but nothing major. Mind you the weather man tells us there is more to come so we will wait and see. It's not boding well for the outdoor concert I'm going to on Saturday.

My sympathy does to out to all those who have been isolated by the weather, and all those dealing with yet more floods.
