Queen Elizabeth Forest

We had a great walk round Queen Elizabeth Forest today. Holli and I spotted this bee gathering pollen from this thistle.

Lovely day, bright and dry but less sunshine than we had hoped. We stopped for lunch by a small loch but were eventually beaten by the midges that came out to play/feed as the weather improved.

Then a lovely dinner with our friends from Italy who fly home on Thursday rounded off a great weekend.
