Second formal

I am going to try and keep on top of formals this semester, although I know that it will never work out. I pay for 16 in total, meaning that I should go to two each week. This sounds like a small amount, but staying late at work, going out with friends, going to the gym, and lots of other commitments get in the way, and it ends up being quite difficult. Last semester I had to cram them all in at the end and go to five in a row, so hopefully I'll be a bit more organised this time!

Lab work is going really well. I'll try and take pictures of my bees soon. I have my own colony of bumblebees that I feed two to three times a day and they're really lovely. I will eventually be doing choice experiments with them, watching to see whether they prefer to visit faba bean flowers with black dots or without (or whether there is no preference). I'm currently waiting for my plants to flower and, as soon as they do, I'll be starting my first experiment :)
