Had to go into overdrive this morning when I realised I was about to be caught in a hail of deadlines ... need to get the very best out of working at home tomorrow if I am to come out of this intact. Too many meetings in January. Too many controversial targets to hit. And in one area at least I am going to have to stage a fightback and recover lost ground ...

Enough of the battlefield analogies. Tonight we did more house stuff. You know, clearing forgotten corners, sorting the unsortable. But couldn't get warm; freezing at the moment.

Oh yeah and they are going to dig our road up again tomorrow ...
