Moorhen sunbathing!

Lots of sun today although cold. Offloaded stuff at the Dump, and shopped at Argos for Memory Cards.  Walked around the Links Pond and took lots of blips. I've chosen this Moorhen because it shows the sun bouncing off his chest and face. The extra shows one taken in the shade.  According to the RSPB seen close-up they have a dark brown back and wings and a bluish-black belly with white stripes on the flanks.
