Family Gathering

If you have a long, steeply sloping garden the obvious thing to do is make a water slide out of tarpaulin, hose, and hay bales to crash into at the bottom. Add copious amounts of water and shampoo to make it more slippy and you have the makings of a high-speed totally non-risk-assessed source of fun for all the kids :)
