Smile!
After a busy day struggling through the crowds to see the Leslie Hunter exhibition at the City Art Centre, I had a peaceful few moments in the garden and liked this shot of the little blue tit. I always think they look mildly comical with their bandit eyes! I was hoping for a shot of Foxy who was lurking in the undergrowth but he wouldn't come out, so I stopped chasing him up and down the hedge and focused on the birdies instead.
For the interested, George Leslie Hunter (7 August 1877 - 6 December 1931), commonly just called Leslie Hunter, was a self-taught Scottish painter and one of the artists of the Scottish Colourists school of painting. More information here.
