Burghley fever!

For the 5th year running now I'm part of the fence judging team at burghley horse trials. This is such an amazing experience with it being one of (if not the) most prestigious eventing venue in the world.
Today was one of our many training sessions, this one being where we go on to the course and study our fence, work out where we are going to stand and what routes there are for the obstacles we have to judge.

This year we have the famous 'cottesmore leap' and its huge. There is a new alternate route fence this year for those who don't fancy taking on the biggest fence on the course. Eek!!
