Words

So it seems Sebastien can now read 14 words! A while back, when we were talking about how one day he would read books all by himself, I made Sebastien a small set of note-cards (with a picture and word on one side and the word on the other side) of things he loves: star, moon, daddy, mommy, cat, dog, etc. He was intrigued back then but didn't quite get the hang of it.

Today he pulled them out and he caught on very quickly. Soon he was running through the cards by himself, testing his ability to read the words. He can get through the whole stack, although he does mix up "mommy" and "moon." But then, really, who doesn't?
