Growler

Destination RAC Club, in London's Pall Mall, for a committee meeting of the Guild of Motoring Writers this evening. Currently displayed In the Club foyer is this beautiful 1950 Jaguar XK120, which competed in that year's Mille Miglia 1,000-miles road race in Italy, and the Le Mans 24-hours race in France.
Why 'growler'? That's what the famous snarling Jaguar badge is called. There's also the 'leaper', that sinuous stretched big cat you see on the back.
