Chalkland Way

In an attempt to keep busy turned my focus towards the Yorkshire Wolds. We are planning an NYMBO (North Yorkshire Mountain Bike Orienteering) event in April. As I am unable to bike it was onto shanks's pony today to tag a few controls.

Damp and miserable it may have been but I felt better being out and about. By the time we had finished the mist was thickening and we were glad to head home to the fireside for a bit more armchair planning.

The sheep were also out for a stroll. They walked along the roadside as we arrived and as we left they had climbed the hill and were walking along the fence on the sky line.
