Imaginary friend

Basil has taken to sleeping with a cushion (with a strangely Polly-like picture on it). The older he gets, the more he likes his home comforts. And who can blame him?

In other news, I received an associate lecturer payroll form today to complete so I get paid for my upcoming lectures. I've no idea what the rate of pay is but it's exciting nonetheless! I've also heard that our article on the museum project is going to go in the society newsletter in the summer. I'm also putting in an abstract to talk about my Hampshire research at a conference in September and I've just received the programme for the one in March. I also have a couple more articles/papers to write. It all seems to be happening this year - and that's not even including writing up my thesis. Good thing I changed my work pattern as I really need these three archaeology days a week!
