Instrumental

Following on from the discovery of my long neglected clarinet, I took it to the wonderful Dawkes shop in Maidenhead.  An Aladdin's cave of instruments, spare parts, sheet music and intriguing accessories. So many beautiful instruments to photograph but the reflections in the bell of a French horn are rather lovely.

 Considering it has been languishing in the loft of various homes since the 80s, it is not in bad nick.  Having nearly ruptured myself trying to play it, I am reassured that after some of the pads and cork joints are replaced and it has some tlc, I will find it much better. I hope!
