Empty Pond

I have spent today catching up with work and paperwork. The sun has been shining, but it has been very cold. The frost did not clear from my car until almost 1100 hours.

Today’s picture looks dull and drab and is exactly how it looks. At this time last year on 12 January and on many other occasions in January, including this day in 2013, the pond has been quite full. Despite yesterday’s rain there is no water in our pond.
