Tiled Hall Cafe
Into Leeds on the train for Mr P's pre op assessment before his next operation on his hands.
All done in next to no time and we headed to the commercial area of the city.
Passing the City Library and Art Gallery l asked to pop in to take a photograph of the magnificent Tiled Hall Cafe sited between the two.
Still quite early in the morning so it was relatively quiet and l was able to photograph quite freely.
We would normally have a coffee here but we had our two John Lewis vouchers for free coffee and cake, so it was a no brainier.
Did l say free?
Once they get you in the store you're tempted!
Ended up with me buying an occasional piece of furniture from their clearance and Mr P got new jeans and PJ bottoms!
Then went through the adjacent market and got six cut amaryllis for £5! ( Flower Friday sorted), 2 boxes of blueberries for a £1 and a box of raspberries for a £1.
Then a call to the Apple Store to buy an adapter that we've been meaning to get for ages but kept forgetting each time we went into Leeds.
Train home, last bit of homemade soup for lunch then off to pick up middle granddaughter who is representing her school in a local swimming gala, the other two are off to ballet.
( don't forget they are on TV tonight!)
Then Mr P is going to the Harriers to fit in his daily run.
As usual busy, busy, busy!
