LaLaLand

Went to see the big film this afternoon. I absolutely loved it. Delightful visuals, tunes and chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. I was entranced.

But I am beginning to hear a backlash from others who were disappointed after all the hype and don't rate it as a best film contender.

One of my fave films is Parapluies De Cherbourg and this was a big nod to that - including the story, dancing and colours. So I am standing by LaLaLand. Mind you, I haven't seen Manchester on Sea yet and that is supposed to be a corker.
