The Tramway
Another visit to Stoney Stanton and the layers of industrial heritage the village hosts. This is my little bridge, once again, looking south through the structure towards Stoney Cove, which was once a quarry the line served.
These narrow gauge railways are referred to as Tramways on old OS maps. The alignments remain visible with cuttings, remnants of another old bridge and a buried tunnel portal... Of course the most interesting structure is this one for me.
