Political baggage

I find it fascinating that direct flights from the UK exist to seemingly obscure cities in Transylvania and other parts of eastern Europe. This must be driven almost entirely by migrant labour because although there is plenty of tourism potential, the idea of visiting rural Romania hasn't yet caught on for British holidaymakers.

It's somewhat ironic that such a gateway to eastern Europe as Luton Airport (an interesting assortment of languages to be heard there) finds itself in a very heavily pro-Brexit area. I would say that any Brexit-voting baggage handlers will regret their choice when the number of flights inevitably dries up and they are offered fewer hours at work, but the post-truth media will take pains to cover up any relationship between cause and effect. Tony Blair or a resettled Syrian community will get the blame for job losses at airports that are supported heavily by European migrant workers.

I'm learning the art of layering when outdoors. This brisk lunchtime walk on the hunt for a bakery enabled me to get acquainted with Deva a little more. I had definitely not nailed the art of layering by this point.
