Colour on Blue Monday

I'm not sure about Blue Monday, but as I set off for an appointment in a village several miles north of here, it was certainly grey Monday! Grey and misty, drizzly, but not cold. The countryside was definitely not looking at its most appealing!
Walking around the garden this afternoon, this dogwood seemed to be the only colour in the garden! 
So this afternoon I cheered ourselves up by ordering some sweet pea, zinnia and snapdragon seeds, a few Nerine bulbs to plant in March, and a few lillies to plant in pots!
Toasted teacake for tea seemed to go down well!
