Alexandra Bastedo and Lorraine Chase

Alexandra Bastedo and Lorraine Chase at the ABC Animal Sanctuary open day this afternoon. I admit to a pre-preadolescent crush on Alexandra when she was in "The Champions" in the mid sixties (I was about 8), so it felt quite weird seeing her in the flesh, so to speak. I still think she's a damned attractive woman now by the way. For the last twenty-odd years she has been running the ABC animal sanctuary in West Sussex. Today was one of their open days featuring some very good jazz, nice food and of course a chance to see the work they are doing (and a bit of celeb spotting!).
