Glass swan

Another damp grey day today so not the best for taking photos outdoors.
This evening I went to visit my Mum , i was going to take a couple of night shots along the river. But while I was there my Sister rang to say she was on her way back to hospital struggling with her lung again and was probably going to have to stay in hospital this time. So after staying with my mum for a bit longer I decided to take a shot of this lovely glass ornament. While taking the shot my Mum told me that my sister got it for her just after my Dad died , had seen it on the side many a time but never knew when she got it.
In other news I've decided its time to upgrade my camera so have purchased a newer model Canon camera the  EOS D50. so cant wait for it to be delivered and to try it out at the weekend.
