One of those crazy days that happen every so often - the Arq I work for is being evicted from its home later this month. After several failed attempts at securing new premises, it all finally came good this week. My Illustrious Leader made a call to arms to help with redecorating the new place as it was too much for the Professional.

I offered to make a vat of chilli to sit in the slow cooker to feed the army. While Smallest swam, I shopped for the ingredients, then home to make massive amounts of chilli and bake 20odd jacket potatoes!

Once that was done, we nipped over to Truro Waitrose to collect Princess's Guide uniform! Back over to Falmouth and on to the new Arq with our army of painters (Eldest, The BF, Princess and Smallest) plus microwave and 2 slow cookers of chilli!

Several hours later we had put a first coat on this entire corridor (with others). It is a very long corridor. With lots of edges (guess who was on edge duty).

We left to get MrRoly home to change for a night out with the boys, I set up the sofa bed for one of the boys, fed the kids and collapsed on the sofa to catch up on Casuality and 'Ordinary Lives'. It's never dull!
