In the bleak midwinter!

In the bleak midwinter we found some colour in the woods!

There were lots of daffodils pushing their way through the layers of beech leaves, but they won't be in flower for quite a few weeks yet!

A dull, dreary day, but really warm, and the rivers Cocker and Derwent are both staying nicely in their beds!
