Win some, lose some

I went out to the shed to get some more apples.  They are all wrapped in paper but some are obviously rotten as soon as I pick them up.  I imagine they had a worn in them when picked.  I went into CA this morning on the off chance I could be useful and ended up busy with clients all morning.  In the afternoon I was repairing.  I had to do a minor tweak on a clock movement that had already been a nuisance.  One internal part needed a minute bend to correct an error.  Sod's law meant that it broke and the mechanism had to be dismantled and repaired all over again.  It happens...
