Pulse Of The City

Picture 14 out of my 24 from the Photo Marathon I finished earlier today. This is 100% straight from my little Sony A55, which has served remarkably well and was not intimidated by the 70-80 full frame Cannons and Nikons it was up against. This shot also shows the benefits of Blip, I've done quite a few night shots and I think the practice has paid off - this took me less than a minute to get in the bag (the quickest of all my shots.....some took 2 hours to figure out).

Subjects were handed out every four hours along with a stamp for proof of awake-ness. At the end you have to hand in your memory card with just 24 JPEGs on it, in the correct order all 100% uncropped and un-editied. (You can enter 12 for 12 hours and stop at around midnight.)
