Haven't blipped for ages...

Not sure what happened, I just stopped (it was the summer holidays so I guess I just ran out of time/hands).
Anyway, I have decided to try to blip more with my big camera (Canon EOS 1100D) with the aim of learning more about it...I have also signed up to "A year with my camera" to be taught stuff.
Anyway, this is a photo of one of Hannah's dresses, we've learnt this week about how auto mode sees everything in 18% grey and one of things we were tasked to do was to take photos of grey things so here goes...
