Queen's Cross
On my way to the Cinema today to see La La Land. It was lucky I had pre booked tickets. As we were going in we heard one of the cashiers announcing to those in the queue there was only one seat reamaining for that screening of La La Land. It sold immediately, and a few people left the queue.
It is a gentle musical romance, no doubt remiscent of the musicals of 1940s and 1950s Hollywood. The music was pleasant though I would not be dashing out to buy the soundtrack. The cinema seemed a good place to be on a cold and slightly snowy afternoon.
