found cobalt insulator

On my photo walk today (with the dog of course) I saw this blue insulator in the leaves.  I walk this way almost everyday, I wonder how this became unearthed so recently.  

I did move it to take a photo - I wanted to get the cool indention and the crack and I love how you can see the screw guide inside.  

The extra was just a surprise - I love the two unicycles - I wish I had been faster and had gotten them face on.

I have a question - I am going to the march on Washington next Saturday and am wondering about bringing my camera.  I think I have decided that I must do it - I will feel frustrated if I don't - but there is a limit to what I can carry - no large bags allowed.

So I think I will bring my camera with the 28mm lens.  My camera is not a full sensor so it is actually closer to a 35.  And the lens is very small so the camera is quite handy with the short lens on it.  But I wonder if I should also bring my telephoto.  (55-210) It is a crappy lens but it does bring things closer which is handy sometimes.

Anyway -  if you have any advise, I'd love to hear it.  Thanks-
