Winter Browns

The world changed from gray to brown when the sun came out this morning.  I couldn't wait to get outdoors and stopped off at several of my favorite spots, forgetting that it was Sunday and there would be too many people around.  So in search of some solitude, I went to the Lois Green Nature Farm and was the only one there except for the bluebirds, woodpeckers, ducks, geese and a herd of deer...my kind of company.  I almost missed the deer as they blend in with the background so well.  We stood and stared at each other for a while and then they ran off, but not before I got my blip.
