4,3,2,1....

...who has got the strongest thumb?

The entertainment whilst I dealt a round of cards for our epic Hearts game that has interspersed itself throughout the day and is poised for a gripping conclusion after I finish this blip.

And appropriate thumbs up for what has been a truly splendid Sunday. Despite the fact that today's dog walk took place in pouring rain. The auspiciousness of the day was heralded by my favourite coffee shop making a real first rate coffee this morning.

This afternoon the menfolk had booked the big telly* to watch football so Anna and I took the opportunity to head off to the cinema and watch La-la Land. Which I thought was beautiful and heart-breaking and lovely all at once.

And the day is not done as we still have the much anticipated final (? possibly, and I suspect probably) Sherlock to feast on.

But first there is a game of Hearts to be won.

EDIT: For when I'm using blip for reference...J played cards with all of us, FIFA with Carl, watched football with Carl and generally hung out with us all from 11.30am until about 8pm. Then collapsed for an hour to prepare for Sherlock.
