Any Road
A run over the fields today from home. Not far, but quite exhausting through deep mud and freezing water at times.
It was a grey, drizzly day, and for most of the time I didn't really know where I was despite thinking that I know the paths quite well around here.
This picture was taken at a point when I was rather lost, although I was only about 100 yards from a road I've run along countless times. Access to the road was past the front door of a beautiful country house. I know this house well from the road, but didn't recognise it approaching from this unfamiliar direction. When I reached the road, it still wasn't immediately obvious where I was. Then I turned around to see the name of the house: Kingsley Hill. I wanted to turn around and take a closer look, but thought that would be intruding somewhat.
