In the Midst of the Mist

9.5C with mist and smir all day. Moderate W/WNW.NW breeze.
(Wind had been W/WNW to 29 mph overnight with gusts to 41 mph)

Maeve the Deerhound decided she would like to go out at 5am. When we came back I let Maeve into the living room and I went back to bed. Apothecary7 tells me Maeve was so fast asleep when she peeped round the living room door just after 8am that she had to put on a light and check whether she was still breathing !

Grocery shopping over by mid morning. Maeve stayed at home.

Outside of the town and the harbour the world has disappeared behind a screen of mist and smir.
We couldn't see anywhere near as far as Davaar island from the end of the old quay.
So, we didn't walk very far today. Even walking round to the harbour left our waterproofs dripping.
Viking Caledonia and Ronja Supporter have sailed.

Later Apothecary7 was pottering about in her studio.
