Self contemplation
Self contemplation.
A still place within a crowd,
Trying to focus.
... which was harder than you might think ... !
Sue and I went on a photography meet-up thingy to the V&A. It was all about self-portraits using reflective materials (glass, mirrors etc). Then later int the cafe we were experimenting using home made reflectors (in my case) and the light from a phone.
Technically it was all very tricky trying to focus on the image in the glass rather than the glass itself (if you see what I mean). Trying to take the ones like the one above was a case of holding the camera up and pointing it at yourself and hoping for the best!
I have to say it was all great fun ... you can do these things in a group, on your own you would just feel a bit weird!
A couple of extras, one of the courtyard at the V&A and one of Blackfriars station .
