A first

I struggle to encourage birds into my garden as Mr Gull dominates if there is any food around. Luckily, the gull can't get at the niger seed and this is our first sighting of a goldfinch in the garden, taken through the window so not the sharpest. It stayed for quite a feast so hopefully it will return. The gull can't get at the robin feeder which has a dome so it keeps on knocking it until the mealworms fall to the ground. It hasn't appeared yet so fingers are crossed that the robin will get there first.
