Many Happy Receipts

My Dear Fellow,

It is Er Indoors birthday today. I haven't got her a gift; not even a card. I should feel a little guilty about this but do not. I did TRY. Yesterday I was going to take her out for lunch and then SURPRISE - take her to the posh shop to buy something nice.

But then she told me the best gift I could give her would be to leave her in pyjamas all day. So much for SURPRISE.

So instead she has been spoilt rotten with coffees & cake and lots of murder mysteries. I guess I can always nip to the shops during the week and SURPRISE her after work one day. I have a pretty good idea what to get. 

But I'll be sure to get a receipt too. I'm not that confident.
