Frog among the lillies

The sun appeared so I took advantage to cut the grass. The sun also brings out the young frogs that have hatched in my pond.

They are all different sizes, there are still tadpoles in various stages of development too.

I have to be very careful with the lawnmower and give them time to jump out the way. The older ones are exploring the garden and I find them at the other end of the garden well away from the pond.

It's taken about 6 years for the pond to teem with life and I think ignoring it and letting nature do its own thing has worked out well.
