Rhein Fresh Water Mussel Shells

Or some sort of freshwater bivalve mollusc. This was taken at the Rhein and there were thousands and thousands of these shells. So somewhere there must be huge beds of these.

I think there's something quite restful about this.

Low-key, low-intensity day. I don't plan to do much other than relax, read and maybe cook something to eat later.
