Cool of the morning

It was pleasant early this morning when this shot was taken from the top of the Mt Britten Reserve.  A good time for a walk, as the temperature rose steadily during the day.  

My task for the day was supposed to be to staining the portion of the house above the roofline, which received only one coat when the builders were re-cladding with cedar.  Too hot today, though, as I would have fried standing up there on the iron!
