Popped!

My poppy has popped already, and it's red!

It was only just over a week ago that the first buds appeared, in fact this flower still looked like a tightly contained flower bud only yesterday afternoon.

And then overnight, it simply popped!

I have five more poppy buds waiting to open, and can hardly wait to see what colours they will be. :)
