Would've been easier to carry the shopping

Not my shopping cart, but whoever (if it's whomever don't shoot me OK), used it must have struggled to get it here through all the snow and ice  that's still hanging about. Would've been much easier to carry the bloody shopping. 
A successful day, finished Extraordinary People (which I only started on Thursday but couldn't put  down.) Returned it to the library, bought a lottery ticket, and am now considering the boss' instructions to make a  meat sauce to go with lentil pasta al forno. 
Maybe I should've bought a bottle of wine to go with it. 

Ah well
