Bridge Viaduct Building

Familiarity breeds contempt, I see this landmark every week and take it for granted but Stockport railway viaduct, completed in 1840, is the largest brick structure in the UK. It is hard to photograph; too much subject matter in a full-length image. I took this view from the west taking in the earlier stone bridge with the industrial buildings that followed the railways.

My first RAW image and my first attempt at post processing using Capture One for Sony; it seems complicated, lots to learn. I parked on a double yellow, and the RAW image taken in a rush was underexposed as I was worried about getting clamped. I cropped around 40% off the original cluttered image.
