Little Grebe
Wanted to air my 300 lens again today, but being a bank holiday and a fine day in Cornwall, I decided to go to Tehidy Woods early as I thought that my be quiet and it was. I was looking for the pair of little grebes that reside on the lake. I had a good walk around and could not see them. Then when I was on my way back there they were in the middle of the lake chasing one another. I waited there for about half and hour to see if they would venture over nearer to where I was, as this I felt was a good place for the light. In the end I was rewarded with this.
Little Grebes are very small 25-29cm. So are a bit of a challenge even with a long lens.
