Tumbling over

A great day for a walk in Rouken Glen Park. The shaded areas still had a light covering of snow and some areas were quite icy. Plenty of dogs around and those not on the lead managed to find the muddiest areas to scamper through.

Just as I started my walk beside the Auldhouse Burn a Kingfisher flew past. There was no way I could get a photograph but with the wonderful iridescent blue colouring it just had to be a Kingfisher. I'll go back one day during the week when there are fewer folk around and see if I can spot it again.
