Clatto Country Park, Dundee

Isn't it amazing what you discover when you take a wrong turning?  We went out for lunch in Meigle at our favourite eatery, but were very disappointed that they have stopped serving their delicious quiches.  The soup was too watery for my liking too, so we may not go back for a while.

We continued on towards Dundee and TJ turned left on to an industrial estate by mistake.  However, I just happened to spot a signpost to Clatto Reservoir, so we followed the road and found a whole Country Park as well that we didn't even know existed!

The sun had come out and we had a lovely, if very chilly, walk all the way round the reservoir, enjoying watching the birds that couldn't read:-)  To warm up, we called in at the Pine Tree Café for a coffee and then headed home across the snowy hills. A lovely day in the end:-)
