Patterns in light

Inspired by the bright sun and blocks of ice, I decided to look around the garden for today's photo. I found that having taken pictures of several used and unused bricks and stones and the iced water fountain, that the shadows cast by the trellis to block the rapid exit of a tiny puppy from the side and of the house cast some interesting shapes on the pavers. Once you start looking there seems to be so many interesting pictures to take just to see what effects can be obtained by small changes in light and position.
