Butterfly effect

Way out of my comfort zone, shooting butterflies. This one turned out to be quite a shutter bug, it even came back on the flower I was taking pictures of after it had flown away.

Too bad it wouldn't sit still enough, I only got a couple of reasonably sharp shots while most of them were a bit blurry.

Later in the afternoon I was sitting on the patio with Helga when a similar butterfly landed on his wing for a moment. Helga was quite amazed, I wish I'd had time to get a photo but the butterfly flew away almost immediately.
