Nodding Heads

Alternative Title:  'Talking Heads' - as the whole field seemed to be sharing a whispered conversation.

When I was almost home from Christchurch this afternoon I realised I hadn't taken a photo today, so I took a drive around the block (about 5 km square) looking for an attractive field.

I found this one with its crop nodding heavily in the breeze.   Going by the colour and the weight of the heads I'd say its probably close to ripe.
